Welcome to the Cyber Home of Stanton Stables. We have
owned, bred and shown horses for 40 plus years. Including, the APHA World
Champion sire Zippin. Stanton Stables, formerly known as Berry
Patch Paints, is located in East Central Illinois in
the heart
of rich farmland and gently rolling prairie. You will find us just 3
miles south of Urbana, within view of the University of Illinois Assembly Hall and only
minutes from one of the Nation’s top Veterinary Colleges.
Built for Breeding
Our new facility is designed for
breeding and foaling.
We have a stallion collecting area and a modern
laboratory equipped to grade and ship cooled semen. We offer shipped semen
via Fed-Ex or Airline. Foaling stalls are equipped with closed circuit cameras
monitored from the house. Our indoor arena can be viewed from the visitor’s
lounge.
Large
pastures, roofed turn-outs, and limed dry lots all
add to the safety and
comfort of our horses. We occasionally have weanlings
or yearlings for sale or know of clients who have Zippins for sale.
We’re very happy to connect buyers and sellers at no charge to either.

Stanton Stables is also home to “Joyride,” a Therapeutic Riding Program directed
by Champaign-Urbana
Parks Department. We are privileged to provide the facility and horses for this program.
